About the Role

Our organization seeks an experienced Project Director – Solar Energy to oversee the complete execution of solar water pump installations across various states.

This leadership position involves driving timely project completion, quality compliance, partner coordination, and on-time claim submissions in line with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Management: Establish and manage a reliable network of Field Installation Partners, Installation Partners, and Commissioning Partners.
  • Project Execution: Ensure seamless workflows from surveys to inspections, RMS integration, and claims submission within strict timelines.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Oversee Order Issuing Authority (OIA) portal uploads, inspections, and penalty waiver processes while ensuring documentation compliance.
  • Quality & Training: Drive training programs for partners and internal teams on installation quality, RMS integration, and farmer education.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a state-spanning project team with structured daily/weekly/monthly reviews and adherence to SOPs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government officials, farmers, installation partners, and internal customers to resolve delays and escalate issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks, refine SOPs, and implement corrective/preventive measures to ensure smooth project delivery.

Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 15+ years in large-scale project management, with 5+ years in multi-state EPC/renewable installations under government schemes.

Other Requirements:

  • 10–12 days per month for monitoring installations, government liaison, and partner/team performance.
