Project Director Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Project Director to oversee the successful delivery of solar, wind, and hybrid projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and ensuring timely project execution within budget.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our project portfolio, with a focus on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and implementation of industry best practices. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as experience in contract management, cash flow oversight, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and development of training needs for high-potential leaders
  • Direct cross-functional teams and review measurable KRAs/KPIs to ensure progress is tracked and provide actionable feedback
  • Conduct 360-degree feedback sessions every six months and monthly reviews with reporting managers to gather professional feedback
  • Head the identification of competency gaps at N-1 and N-2 levels in collaboration with HR and ensure tailored learning plans are in place for each team member
  • Direct efforts in talent development to ensure that less than 5% of high-potential individuals are actively nurtured for leadership roles
  • Oversight of relationship management with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil preferred)
  • Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines (desirable)
  • 20 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects from initiation to completion, with an emphasis on cost optimization and schedule adherence
