Job Opportunity: Cloud Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Redshift DBA to manage our cloud-based data infrastructure and support AWS services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with database platforms, including AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, MySQL, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scalable cloud environments and applications for data organization
  • Install and maintain software, services, and applications by identifying system requirements
  • Oversee day-to-day database operations, deployments, and development
  • Maintain environment performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot system hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide advisory and mentorship role

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 6-12 years of experience in System, platform, and AWS cloud administration
  • 4 years of Database administration using latest AWS technologies
  • 2 years of Snowflake administration
  • Experience with Agile software development and multiple OS platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
