Software Engineering Leadership Role

The Senior Vice President of Software Engineering will oversee our SaaS platform team, driving innovation and excellence in software development.

Job Description:

This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in software engineering, including 15+ years in SaaS platform/product development.

  • Lead global R&D roadmap and product transformation initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team with diverse skill sets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Define and execute platform engineering strategy aligned with product and business goals.
  2. Oversee development and operations of a scalable, reliable SaaS platform with continuous improvement.
  3. Make technical decisions balancing engineering, business, and customer needs.
Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 20+ years in software engineering, with 15+ years in SaaS platform/product development.
  • Proven leadership managing teams of 100+ engineers across diverse skill sets.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of software and infrastructure cost management.
  • Technical skills: Java, .NET, AWS, RedHat, ETL tools, front-end technologies; familiarity with Github Copilot and Jira.
