Key Responsibilities:

  • Document business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle VBCS applications, OIC integrations, and PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables, views, and synonyms based on business needs.
  • Develop high-performance applications using OTBI (Oracle Transnational Business Intelligence), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), Smart View for Excel, and Financial Reporting Center (RFC).
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain and update existing Oracle VBCS applications, OIC integrations, Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables, views, and synonyms as needed.
  • Contribute to code reviews and participate in improvement initiatives to enhance best practices and adhere to company standards.
  • Optimize code by applying performance-tuning techniques, considering current environment limitations.
  • Provide production support, resolving requests for data updates, ad-hoc reports, or minor enhancements.

On your first day, we expect you to have:

  • 3-6 years of experience in software development and a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working as an Oracle VBCS/OIC Developer or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of Oracle development tools and technologies.
  • Exposure/experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST/SOAP APIs, OTBI, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), Smart View for Excel, and Financial Reporting Center (RFC).
  • Proficiency in programming using PL/SQL and SQL Concepts, PL/SQL in constructing Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions & Triggers.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle ERP or Fusion Cloud, Finance modules preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any training/certification is highly valued.
  • Good understanding of key concepts such as Collections, Exception Handling, and Cursors.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database.
