Key Role: Product Line Manager

This leadership position requires a highly skilled individual to oversee product change management, implement cost reduction strategies, and manage strategic vendor issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning product change management and control to ensure smooth operations
  • Reviewing and approving unreleased products to guarantee quality
  • Approving ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) for efficient implementation
  • Implementing PCNs (Part Change Notifications) in collaboration with Global Product Support
  • Managing field service activities, including reviewing, approving, and filtering system feedback with customer impact
  • Maintaining accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
  • Conducting CaRM (Configuration Accuracy Review Meeting) reviews
  • Ensuring BOM accuracy
  • Approving NSRs (Non Standard Requests)
  • Developing and implementing common modules roadmaps post Phase 5 of ePLC
  • Implementing component roadmaps, including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reduction
  • Facilitating intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders. Facilitating alignment meetings for product roadmaps and market proliferation
  • Implementing cost reduction roadmaps
  • Managing strategic vendor issues
  • Overseeing all changes to the product after release
