Job Overview:

Seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions in enterprise environments. Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and 7+ years in presales roles, specifically in Cloud & Virtualization domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, Virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate solutions and communicate key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical project requirements with business needs to ensure success.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs highlighting the product's differentiators.
  • Deliver solution presentations or technical proposals showcasing our capabilities.
  • Manage and deliver technical validation activities including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Build relationships and work with partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies & concepts and working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, and CloudStack.
  • Understanding of virtualization concepts and container technologies especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security infrastructure hardening security baselines web server and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like storage security and compute solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience preparing technical proposals RFP responses and BoQs.
  • High-level presentation skills and composure when interacting with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic international environment with proven experience managing Proof Of Concept activities in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives striving for standardization and simplification.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years of experience in solutions engineering and presales roles.
