Job Title: Business Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for analyzing and reporting on sales data to help businesses assess and improve their sales operations.
  • Work with sales teams, management, and other services teams to ensure sales targets are met, and performance metrics are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and compile data from various sources, CRM systems to analyze the data.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas of improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including key metrics like revenue margins, discounts etc.
  • Develop sales forecast trends.
  • Support sales team in setting realistic targets and goals.
  • Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the sales process and propose solutions to streamline operations.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Offer support in strategy development and decision making based on performance data.
  • Create interactive dashboards and Viz using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Helping with MBRs and QBRs presentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to spot patterns and anomalies in sales data.
  • Problem solving skills to offer solutions to address challenges in sales processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of master and transactional data - Customers, accounts, partners, products, installed base, opportunities, quoting, orders, service contracts.
  • Experience with complex data analysis and tools.
  • Must be an expert in data interpretation, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills, react to changing priorities.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team within and outside CS.
  • 7+ years of business experience preferably within a CS environment with Services and Install base, contracts, and renewal business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM applications such as SFDC, SAP, Excel.

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration, Data Science/Analytics or Sales required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
