Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Professional to manage end-to-end payroll and invoicing operations for W2, 1099, and C2C employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for W2, 1099, and C2C employees using Intuit QuickBooks and other tools.
- Collect timesheets from the HR Department, validate hours, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Reconcile payroll records and assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll documentation.
- Generate and send timely invoices to clients; follow up regularly for prompt collections.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain current accounts receivable and payable records.
- Apply for and manage state-specific tax account numbers.
- Collaborate with a CPA to file and deposit taxes with the IRS and state authorities within compliance timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in U.S. & India payroll management.
- Proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks and other payroll software.
- In-depth knowledge of W2, 1099, and C2C payroll formats and U.S. and India tax laws.
