AWS Cloud Engineer Job Description

Key to our organization's objectives is designing and deploying scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS.

  • Implement cloud infrastructure according to best practices.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Implement security measures, including IAM, VPC security, and data protection.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC and subnetting.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
