Power Platform Developer Job Description

As a Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering robust solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with business process SMEs to gather and confirm business process details, document process definitions, and participate in workshops led by senior developers.
  • Architect, develop, and design robust Power Platform solutions leveraging the capabilities of the Power Platform and Azure services.
  • Integrate Power Platform with other Microsoft services and third-party systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Expertly advise on licensing and create financial plans explaining the cost implications of adopting the Power Platform.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with overall business objectives and IT strategy through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on Power Automate best practices, tools, and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in Power Platform services, including licensing models and Azure.
  • SharePoint experience and Canvas app development expertise.
  • Experience with MS PowerApps, Power Automate desktop, MS Flow, and Canvas.
  • Understanding of Power Platform Architecture and experience designing solutions in Power Platform.
  • Creativity in building Custom Web resources for Power Apps.
  • Developing and utilizing custom connectors.
  • Consuming functions/APIs to retrieve/update data from the database.
