Cloud Data Engineering Leadership Opportunity

This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of large-scale data engineering solutions, focusing on scalability, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers in developing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS, ensuring seamless integration with various tools and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear vision for a cloud-based platform to drive business growth and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and solve complex challenges
  • Create end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Evaluate and enforce platform governance to ensure compliance with security and operational standards
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 12 years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture
  • Strong expertise in designing and managing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms
  • Proven track record in leading multi-tenant system design and management on AWS
