Senior Proposal Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of compelling proposal responses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft comprehensive proposals that meet customer needs.

The successful candidate will have expertise in developing proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and proposal management plans. They will also have experience in writing, editing, and proofreading proposals, as well as coordinating with subject matter experts to gather and incorporate technical, financial, and operational information.

A strong track record of successfully managing and winning competitive proposals is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience using content management platforms and project management applications to develop and manage content.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end proposal development process
  • Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Legal, InfoSec, Product Management, and other resources to develop compelling proposal responses
  • Developing all proposal response materials, including proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and proposal management plans
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading proposals to enhance business development
  • Fostering strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and coordinating with subject matter experts to gather and incorporate technical, financial, and operational information

Requirements include:

  • 10+ years' experience managing and delivering compliant, compelling proposal responses to customers in various types of commercial industries and channel partners
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and winning competitive proposals
  • Experience using Responsive (formerly RFPIO) and Asana is preferred
  • Ability to deconstruct requirements and develop a compliance matrix
  • Strong business and IT modernization acumen, including Cyber Security, Networking, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience in SLED (State, Local, and Education) and Federal is highly preferred
  • Experience working for a technology company is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy with data
  • Bachelor Degree required or equivalent experience
