Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing complex proposals, partnering with cross-functional teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Legal, InfoSec, Product Management, and other resources to develop comprehensive proposal responses;
  • Leading the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP/RFQ/RFI review to final submission;
  • Developing all proposal response materials, including proposal outlines, compliance matrices, proposal management plans, writing templates, and desktop publishing;
  • Writing, editing, proofing, organizing, formatting, and producing proposals to enhance business development;
  • Fostering strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and coordinating with subject matter experts to gather and incorporate technical, financial, and operational information;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks related to proposal development and submission;
  • Ensuring win themes, differentiators are included in the proposal and delivering a compelling response to the customer or partner;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in proposal development, sales operations, or a related field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and presentations;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Experience with proposal management software and tools, such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and project management applications.
