Job Title: Chief Financial StrategistA challenging senior leadership role for a finance professional seeking to drive operational excellence and strategic growth in banqueting and catering businesses.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, management information systems reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
  • Leadership and management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analysis of profit and loss statements, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Compliance with statutory regulations such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable laws; coordination with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implementation of best practices, controls, and enterprise resource planning systems tailored to banqueting and catering.
  • Partnership with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and manage expenses.
  • Support for leadership decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Mentorship and supervision of the finance team; driving a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Management of vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  • Variance analysis, identification of cost-saving opportunities, and implementation of corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality, banqueting, and catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, management information systems, financial modeling, event and catering cost controls.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
