Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Planning specialist to support project and operational finance activities.

This role will be responsible for managing financial forecasts, invoices, revenue tracking, and vendor payment processes while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and internal policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Forecasting & Budgeting
    • Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
    • Track budget vs. actuals regularly and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost allocation.
  • Invoicing & Revenue Management
    • Support the Finance team in raising accurate and timely invoices for client projects.
    • Track receivables to ensure prompt payments from clients.
    • Manage vendor payments using Zoho.
    • Maintain accurate records of contracts and agreements.
    • Oversee timesheet management for consultants and ensure timely submissions.
  • Project Costing & Reporting
    • Estimate future costs based on sales pipeline and current utilization.
    • Provide insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare periodic reports on profitability, project financial health, and utilization.
Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or project finance.
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, revenue recognition, and vendor payment processes.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Projects or similar financial/project management tools.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (financial modeling, projections, variance analysis).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams.
