**Job Opportunity:** Technical Manager for EHV and HV Cable Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to oversee the design and implementation of EHV and HV cable systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in EHV or HV cable design, with a deep understanding of technical principles and regulations;
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners;
  • Able to perform short circuit calculations using Excel and ampacity calculations using CYMCAP;
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures;

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Conduct technical reviews of sourcing requests from internal stakeholders;
  • Design cables for EHV and HV systems;
  • Support internal stakeholders to optimize their sourcing requests based on supply chain partner capabilities;
  • Review cable inquiries from customers and convert into cable sourcing requests;
  • Perform technical clarifications with supply chain partners;
  • Check and accept technical data sheets from supply chain partners;
  • Prepare quality control plans and ITPs with supply chain partners;
  • Review and accept quality records from suppliers;
  • Witness in-process, routine, and sample tests;
  • Identify and drive improvements;

Qualifications:

We require an engineering degree in electrical field. A minimum of 4 years of experience in EHV or HV cable design is necessary.
