As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end development of power electronics systems for electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define system architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of power electronics systems.
  • Oversee simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits using tools like PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or LTspice.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Evaluate and select components such as IGBTs, SiC/GaN FETs, gate drivers, magnetics, and capacitors.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards including ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation.

You will have a strong understanding of high-voltage systems, safety protocols, and thermal management. Experience with agile methods and toolsets such as JIRA, SCRUM, KANBAN is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in HV Systems engineering, Battery management System design, and lead positions.
  • Expertise in Design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems into the overall vehicle electrical architecture.
  • Good engineering knowledge of vehicle subsystems such as PWT, Chassis, Body, Security, Infotainment, Diagnostics, and Electrical systems ECUs.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks, including switching and routing.
