Backend Engineering Leader

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineering Lead to drive the technical direction of our backend systems, lead engineering initiatives, and mentor team members. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

  • Lead the design and development of backend systems using Java and Spring Boot technologies.
  • Architect and implement robust API designs and microservices that meet business objectives.
  • Guide the team in adopting best practices in backend development and system architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives in continuous integration, performance optimization, and system reliability.
  • Mentor engineers and lead code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, API design, and microservices.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Docker, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, Domain-Driven Design, CI/CD, and AI/ML integration.
