About Us:

N Human Resources & Management Systems is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Director to streamline our operations, enhance efficiency, and support our programs and initiatives.

Job Summary:

The Operations Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that all programs, services, and administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple aspects of organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
    • Manage and optimize daily operations to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Project Management:
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee special projects and initiatives.
    • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Staff Management:
    • Supervise and support administrative and operational staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
    • Coordinate staff schedules and manage workload distribution.
  • Financial Management:
    • Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes.
    • Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
    • Oversee procurement processes and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and donor regulations.
    • Identify and manage risks related to operations and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Support internal and external audits.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with external partners, donors, and stakeholders to support operational needs.
    • Represent the organization at meetings and events as needed.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key community and organizational stakeholders.
  • Administrative Functions:
    • Oversee office management, including facilities, supplies, and technology.
    • Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
    • Proven experience in project management and staff supervision.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
