Senior Software Engineer

The role involves working in the Digital Commerce Platforms group to develop and implement enterprise initiatives and technical projects for ecommerce websites.


As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, participating in architecture and code reviews, helping to prioritize features and bug fixes, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leading in the pursuit and delivery of the best possible product.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and develop verifiable requirements and software designs.
  • Develop technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, systems integration, test execution, issue resolution, and reviews.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with software, hardware, and test engineers across the team.

Requirements:
  • Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
  • Advanced programming skills in Java.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience deploying software on elastic platforms such as Kubernetes, EC2.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, learn new technologies, cut through ambiguity, and deliver results.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and time management skills passion for leading, mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly within the team and across departments.
