About the Role

  • We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Leader to oversee end-to-end procurement projects, ensuring value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
  • This position requires strong expertise in sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • A proven track record of contractual review and redlining is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies, driving process improvements and buying channel optimization.
  2. Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices in sourcing and procurement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
