Job Title: Senior Snowflake Consultant

Position: Snowflake Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions on Snowflake.
  • Define best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization and data governance.
  • Create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g. regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Build, schedule and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes.
  • Implement robust error handling, logging and recovery mechanisms.
  • Translate Banking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
  • Work with structured/unstructured data like core banking systems, payments, credit risk, AML/KYC, collections.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in data management.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists and reporting teams to deliver analytical datasets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep understanding of financial data models (customer 360, payments, credit/debit, claims, risk, fraud).
  • Exposure to BFSI regulations & compliance in data handling and reporting.
  • Ability to lead data discussions with both business and technical teams.
