Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

As a data analyst, you will play a key role in delivering analytics solutions that drive business growth and improvement. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning will enable you to uncover actionable insights and support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bespoke Report Building: Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Data Analysis and Visualisation: Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to support business decision-making.
- Data Pipelines and Queries: Develop and maintain data pipelines and queries using SQL and Python.
- Data Science Techniques: Apply data science techniques such as predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression to solve business problems.
- Machine Learning Workflows: Build, validate, and tune machine learning models using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data science problems and communicate findings in a clear manner.
- Statistical Techniques: Use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support decision-making.
- Documentation and Reproducibility: Document data science workflows and maintain reproducibility of experiments and models.
- Professional Certifications: Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake), and AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R is required.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue is highly advantageous.
- Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models is essential.
