Job Opportunity: Senior Database Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Database Specialist.

  • PgSQL is the primary database management system in use. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SQL, query optimization techniques, indexing strategies, window functions, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
  • Data modeling expertise, particularly with star schema designs, fact tables, and dimension tables, is also crucial.
  • The ability to work effectively with semi-structured data, specifically JSON and JSONB in PostgreSQL, is essential.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools, such as Airbyte, is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in preparing data for business intelligence platforms, like Tableau, would be beneficial.
  • The selected individual should possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot data-related issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, are required.

Work Environment: This is a contract position with remote work options, accommodating a flexible schedule that aligns with IST hours and includes overlap with EST time zones.
