Job Title: Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at an industry-leading organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine installation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit customer sites for installation, commissioning, and servicing of equipment
  • Coordinate with the customer and internal teams to ensure site readiness before installation
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance during service calls
  • Oversee entire installation process to ensure timely and successful machine setup
  • Provide training to customer operators and maintenance teams post-installation
  • Maintain proper documentation of service calls, installation reports, and customer feedback
  • Take ownership of customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth functioning of equipment post-installation
  • Escalate critical issues to the technical management team for faster resolution
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines while working at site

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in machine installation and service, preferably in capital machinery or packaging industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to travel frequently, domestically and internationally if needed
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently under time constraints
