Reliable Edge Engineering Expertise

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Edge Engineering team. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, performance, and capacity of our Internet-facing services.

About Edge Engineering

The edge team builds and operates the infrastructure that resolves, routes, and delivers all traffic between our 1 billion members and the application layer. We do this with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our Internet-facing services.
  • Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications.
  • Assist in the roll-out and ramp up of new product features and technologies to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth.
  • Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems.
  • 5+ years experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a UNIX-based large-scale web operations role.
  • Experience with .NET, C#, Android or iOS development.
  • Experience in building systems automation and server backends with Python.
  • Experience with writing scalable programs in Rust/Golang/Python.
