Statutory Auditor Job Description

As a Statutory Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial statements of our clients are prepared in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Your role will involve applying in-depth knowledge of Ind AS to all audit engagements, verifying financial records, internal controls, and compliance with statutory requirements.

  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare Ind AS compliant financial statements that accurately reflect the financial position and performance of the audited entities.
  2. Audit Execution: Conduct statutory audit procedures in accordance with auditing standards, focusing on verifying financial records, internal controls, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  3. Accounting Treatment & Disclosures: Ensure all accounting treatments and disclosures in financial statements are meticulously performed and presented as per the requirements of Ind AS.
  4. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate audit documentation, including working papers and audit findings.
  5. Issue Identification & Resolution: Identify any discrepancies, non-compliance, or material misstatements in financial records and facilitate their resolution with clients.
