Senior Commercial Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Commercial Leader to spearhead our global commodity trading initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the base metals value chain, with extensive experience in commercial operations and trade management.

This is a full-time position based in Gurugram, reporting directly to the Director – Commercial (Metals).

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies across exchanges.
  • To devise business strategies that drive growth and achieve a leading position in the Indian base metal industry.
  • To lead a team of professionals in heading trade commercials, including sales and purchases.
  • To build and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • To establish organizational infrastructure to support a phased growth journey from initial trading focus to eventual establishment of manufacturing operations across the base metals value chain.

Requirements:

The minimum requirements for this role include:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience post-Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 20 years of experience in the base metals industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
