Job Title: Compliance and Trade Expert

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Compliance and Trade Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to export-oriented units, special economic zones, and domestic tariff areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations for Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) and Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS).
  • Prepare and obtain Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status.
  • Renew registration-cum-membership certificates (RCMCs), update importer-exporter codes (IEC), and obtain status holder certificates.
  • Obtain incentives from the government and ensure duty drawback compliances.
  • Support obtaining preferential/non-preferential certificates of origin (COO).
  • Develop good knowledge of import and export clearance processes, classification of products, norms, and regulations.
  • Represent the company in government departments for litigation closures and respond to notices and appeals.
  • Support internal and external audits, review free trade agreements (FTAs), and analyze ERP or SAP systems.


Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of trade compliance regulations and laws.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP or SAP systems and MIS reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
