Job Title: Global Trade Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Trade Compliance Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on a challenging role in global trade compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all import and export activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement trade compliance programs to minimize risk and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changing trade regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate classification, valuation, and documentation of imports and exports.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on trade compliance best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve any trade compliance issues or discrepancies.
  • Stay compliant with customs regulations, duties, taxes, and other related matters.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global trade compliance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Language Skills:
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Additional language skills a plus.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, or similar software a plus.
