Chancen International is a leading international organization seeking a dynamic Feasibility Study Expert/Researcher to support its growth in India. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and assisting in the execution of business development strategies.

About the Role

The Feasibility Study Expert/Researcher will be responsible for leading the design and execution of feasibility studies, ensuring alignment with Chancen's objectives. This includes coordinating focus group discussions and interviews with key stakeholders, collaborating with internal teams and implementation partners, and synthesizing research findings into comprehensive presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of feasibility studies, ensuring alignment with Chancen's objectives.
  • Coordinate focus group discussions and interviews with key stakeholders, including education providers, financial institutions, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and implementation partners to gather insights and advise on the capital structure required to fund ISAs.
  • Draft and review contract templates and other legal documents necessary for the implementation of the ISA model in India.
  • Synthesize research findings into comprehensive presentations, including proposed pilot designs and roadmaps for implementation.
Pilot Project Management
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the ISA pilot in India, ensuring all activities align with the project's objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal product knowledge experts at Chancen and implementing partners to support pilot implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate pilot progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the pilot project, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Identify new market opportunities for ISA.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, training providers, financial providers, etc.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications in India and other countries, when appropriate.
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication across all project stakeholders.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare detailed reports on project milestones, challenges, and successes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities, decisions, and progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Research Analyst, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Research, with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Experience in the education sector, financial services, and social enterprise, particularly in India, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and knowledge of regional languages in India is an asset.
Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum
