Lead Structural Engineer for Port Infrastructure

Join our team of skilled professionals to lead structural engineering efforts for port projects, overseeing the design, analysis, and execution of key structural components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Design and Analysis: Develop and implement advanced structural engineering principles to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, resilience, and environmental sustainability.
  • Project Management Consultancy (PMC): Provide technical leadership and oversight for the execution of port infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Oversee the risk mitigation strategies and safety measures, ensuring that all structural designs and construction work comply with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise construction activities on-site, providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, including significant PMC experience.
  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.
