Program Manager Job Overview

As a key professional in our organization, you will be responsible for all aspects of program delivery execution from pursuit to launch and beyond.

This role requires creating strong relationships with customers through achieving customer satisfaction and establishing long-term intimacy at various management levels.

You will directly lead a team of engineers covering multiple programs with products across our cockpit electronics and electrification portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic oversight and responsibility for all program deliverables with specific customers
  • Program budget management with specific customers
  • Resources management within customer project teams
  • Engagement with senior-level customer stakeholders
Performance Indicators

The success of this role will be measured by flawless launch of new programs and engineering changes on specific customers, timely delivery, first-time quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and annual targets.

You will also be responsible for adhering to development processes, mitigating program risks and issues, and managing your team effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry with Tier 1 experience in the last 10 years
  • Extensive experience in engineering/program launch execution
  • Proven customer-facing skills with over 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Japanese languageLaunch of new products consistent with customer requirements
  • Accountability for program profit and loss
  • Negotiating scope of new business with customers
