About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for owning test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines.

  • Build scalable and maintainable UI test flows using modern tools like Playwright.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into our QA processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman or equivalent.
  • Develop smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks to ensure the stability of our applications.
  • Integrate automated testing into our GitHub pipelines for seamless validation.
  • Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and log them efficiently.
  • Maintain test data and manage test environments to support continuous integration and delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is a plus.
  • Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems is a bonus.
