About the Role

Fruitbowl Digital seeks an accomplished Graphic Designer to spearhead our visual communications strategy. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned creative, adept at crafting compelling designs that captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a cohesive visual identity across our digital platforms and print materials.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to create engaging design concepts that drive business results.
  • Produce high-quality illustrations, infographics, and other visual content that effectively communicates complex ideas.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative design techniques into your work.
  • Evolve our brand's visual identity, maintaining consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Prepare and present design concepts for internal review and feedback.
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure accurate and high-quality design outputs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers for specialized design needs.
  • Ensure all designs align with legal and regulatory requirements, when applicable.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all design outputs, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Manage and organize design assets, including fonts, images, and templates.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior designers or interns, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Experience in both print and digital design, with knowledge of file formats and color modes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload efficiently.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
  • Understanding of marketing and branding principles, to create designs that align with business objectives.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to feedback and make revisions to designs, as necessary.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Uptodate knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with print production processes and knowledge of prepress procedures is desirable.
