About the Role:

Fruitbowl Digital seeks a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the organization's message.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Create visually appealing graphic designs for various platforms, including websites, social media, and print materials.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop design concepts that meet business objectives.
  • Design Execution: Produce high-quality illustrations and infographics that convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Industry Stay: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in design work.
  • Brand Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of the brand's visual identity and maintain brand consistency across all materials.
  • Draft Preparation: Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for internal review and feedback.
  • Production Support: Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and high-quality designs.
  • Creative Contributions: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • External Collaboration: Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers for specialized design needs.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all designs align with legal and regulatory requirements when applicable and conduct quality control checks on all design outputs.
  • Asset Management: Manage and organize design assets, including fonts, images, and templates.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers or interns when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Design Principles: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Design Skills: Experience in both print and digital design with knowledge of file formats and color modes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
  • Marketing and Branding: Understanding of marketing and branding principles to create designs that align with business objectives.
  • Web Design: Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to feedback and make revisions to designs as necessary.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Uptodate knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and technologies.
  • Print Production: Experience with print production processes and knowledge of prepress procedures is desirable.
