Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to secure necessary raw materials and components for cable production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the cable manufacturing industry.

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to secure necessary raw materials and components for cable production
  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and price, then build and maintain strong long-term relationships with them
  • Negotiate favourable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company
  • Implement and oversee procedures to ensure that all purchased materials and components meet the company's specific quality standards and industry requirements
  • Ccoordinate with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages and minimizing excess or obsolete stock
  • Monitor and coordinate the logistics of material and component deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at manufacturing facilities to maintain a smooth production flow
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as tariff issues, single-supplier dependencies, and cost fluctuations
