Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key leadership position as Head Mining Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 20 years of hands-on experience in Overburden (OB) Removal and Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) works.

This role will be based in Chennai and will oversee operations across multiple mining sites pan India. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing end-to-end mining operations across multiple sites in India.
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring OB removal and MDO projects ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Ensuring adherence to statutory and environmental regulations at all mining sites.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for seamless coordination.
  • Driving operational excellence and implementing best practices in mining operations.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of mining professionals and support staff.
  • Developing strategic plans for mining expansion and resource management.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. Additionally, they should have 15 to 20 years of proven experience in mining operations, specifically in OB removal and MDO projects.

A strong understanding of mining regulations, safety, and environmental norms is essential. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills are also required. Willingness to travel to mine locations across India is necessary.
