Compliance Officer

A compliance professional is needed to develop and execute the annual compliance testing plan, conduct compliance reviews of banking products and processes, and perform sample testing to evaluate adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure policies, procedures, and processes comply with statutory requirements
- Evaluate emerging regulatory risks and their impact on bank operations
- Support business units in implementing corrective actions
- Escalate high-risk issues to senior management
- Track changes in laws and regulations and incorporate them into the testing framework
- Prepare detailed compliance testing reports highlighting findings and recommendations
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure closure of audit compliance issues
- Presentation of testing outcomes to senior management and regulators as required
- Work with Risk and Operations teams to strengthen the compliance culture
- Provide guidance to business units on compliance controls
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of banking regulations, understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks, analytical skills for identifying compliance gaps, strong report writing and presentation skills, attention to detail, objectivity, and ability to work independently. Analytical and investigative skills are crucial for this role.
