Job Title: Accounts Collection Specialist
Billing Executive/Cashier Job Description OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Collection Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts, generating bills and invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Account Management: Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to identify outstanding accounts and generate bills and invoices specific to customers.
- Sales Order Generation: Generate sales orders after obtaining a detailed understanding of customer requirements.
- Invoice Delivery: Deliver invoices to clients via digital and traditional services.
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile all payments with invoices, receive and sort incoming payments including cash, debit/credit cards, online payments, and UPI.
- Cash Management: Manage petty cash and identify any inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP.
- Receivables Update: Regularly update receivables specific to customers.
- Customer Service: Address customer queries and resolve problems.
- Day-end Procedures: Submit all cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day.
- Report Generation: Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounts team.
- Monthly/Quarterly Reports: Generate monthly and quarterly reports and present them to the reporting authority.
- Education: B. Com degree.
- Software Proficiency: Understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP.
- Computational Skills: Strong computational skills.
- Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail.
- Productivity: Ability to be productive without oversight.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Communication Skills: Robust written and communication skill set.
- Office Software: Basic understanding of office software and machinery.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a billing executive at a large format store.
- Laws and Regulations: Understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
- Financial Knowledge: Passion for numbers and financial data.
- MS Office: Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Critical Thinking: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork: Team player.
- Time Management: Good time-management skills.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Integrity: Integrity.
