Customer Service Representative Role

The role of a Customer Service Representative at Hibiscus Monkey involves being the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive experience from their first interaction to their final satisfaction. The position requires handling all post-purchase issues, including lost, damaged, or incorrect orders, and serving as the main liaison between our customers and our shipping partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and other communication channels. Manage and resolve issues related to lost packages, damaged products, and incorrect orders.
  • Process and manage customer orders on our DTC website platform, including handling returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Act as the main point of contact for our shipping vendors. Work with them to track down and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free customer experience.
  • Maintain clear, concise, and empathetic communication with customers at all times.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or communications.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years working in an ecommerce operations role, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
