Job Overview

The Delphi multi-tiered Desktop Application Developer plays a crucial role in our mission by developing high-quality software within an agile environment. This position works closely with stakeholders and developers to ensure efficient and effective solutions for the business.

This individual will be involved in all aspects of application development, including analysis, requirements documentation, design, development, testing, and issue tracking resolution.

  • Conduct maintenance and development of customized Delphi Windows applications.
  • Determine legacy application requirements for green field projects.
  • Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of Delphi Windows applications using SQL Server databases.
  • Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for error correction, improvement, and debugging.
  • Analyze test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Liaise with QA teams to resolve issues with custom software products and company systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience designing/developing Delphi Windows applications and SQL Server database stored procedures (T-SQL).
  • Able to complete all phases of software development life cycle, including analysis, design, functionality, testing, and support.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Delphi 6 or higher (Object Oriented Pascal) experience.
  • Familiarity with T-SQL and stored procedures.
  • Logical and physical RDBMS data modeling experience.
  • Source control/ALM software experience.
  • Software versioning and release management experience.
