Job Title: Retail Sales Officer

About the Position:

The primary role of a Retail Sales Officer is to provide exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, responding to their queries, and offering solutions to meet their needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet consumers on arrival at the counter and provide support.
  • Listen intently to customer preferences and provide clear explanations to meet those needs.
  • Display jewelries and other available products.
  • Entice people to buy their jewelries and other available products.
  • Discuss services and products offered by the store, explaining the wide variety of products and services we have, to educate customers on what we offer.
  • Provide consumers with necessary jewelry details such as pricing breakups and information about the product.
  • Demonstrate the use and operation of products.
  • Advise customers on suitable jewelry within their budget for better satisfaction.
  • Inform customers about different cuts of jewelries, their quality, design language, and specifications.
  • Assist customers with wrapping and bagging of their purchased items.
  • Acquire customer details and create a customer code.
  • Give cashiers pricing data and product weights for each purchase.
  • Assist in making payment processes easier for customers.
  • Update store inventory into software systems if available, maintain sales records.
  • Take control of assigned counters and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Report to Store Manager for day-to-day activities and any other needs.
  • Perform other duties as per designation, adhering to customer satisfaction levels and following policies and protocols.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in any stream.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of sales principles.
  • Relevant product knowledge.
  • Experience in retail, customer service, or sales environments.
