Finance and Accounting Shared Services Leader

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to drive operational excellence and business transformation in finance and accounting shared services.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end finance and accounts operations, ensuring high efficiency, compliance, and cost control. They will establish and manage SLA/KPI frameworks, driving continuous service improvements. The role involves leading large-scale transitions and process migrations with a focus on minimizing operational disruptions. Additionally, they will drive financial transformation initiatives through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI and RPA. The leader will also enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee finance and accounts shared services operations to ensure high efficiency, compliance, and cost control.
  • Establish and manage SLA/KPI frameworks to drive continuous service improvements.
  • Lead large-scale transitions and process migrations with a focus on minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Drive financial transformation initiatives through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA/CWA.
  • Relevant experience of 15+ years in a shared service centre.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, with significant exposure to shared services environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing large teams and complex finance operations.
  • Strong command of finance systems, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
