Senior Financial Manager Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead our global financial operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

  • This includes leading high-performing teams across various locations to deliver financial management and control services, ensuring effective decision-making and strategic choices.
  • You will also be responsible for creating the annual budget and plan, working with directors to achieve agreed-upon financial targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Another key responsibility is driving team performance by setting goals, priorities, and internal cadence to meet wider financial and group control deadlines and objectives.
  • In addition, you will work closely with finance pillars to ensure compliance from an accounting and tax perspective.
  • As a key stakeholder, you will drive the wider finance community strategy, including company-wide alignment on best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in international, listed companies preferably, ideally in an international setting.
  • A Certified Accounting, Controlling or MBA qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Mature personality with strong independent point of view.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter with collaboration and team skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and result-driven attitude.
  • IT literacy with ERP, forecasting, and planning tool experience.
  • Native language unspecified but fluency in English is a must.
