Job Title:
Senior IAM Lead

This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives for a leading UK bank.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Identity & Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Security Architecture, with the ability to lead transformational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive IAM strategy and implementation across large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Provide strategic vision to identify security gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with executives and technical teams to align IAM solutions with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee comprehensive IAM lifecycle management including user provisioning and access governance.
  • Mentor and guide technical teams to build world-class IAM practices.
  • Evaluate and implement modern IAM tools and Zero Trust security frameworks.
  • Ensure all IAM solutions meet stringent compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in IT with minimum 10+ years in IAM leadership roles.
  • Platform Expertise: Proven mastery of IAM, MFA, SSO, and federation technologies.
  • Security Architecture: Strong foundation in security architecture, risk management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated experience leading large global teams and managing complex IAM transformation projects.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
  • Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
  • Global Exposure: Prior experience working with UK clients and regulatory environments.
