Senior Technical Advisor - Identity and Access Management (IAM)

As a seasoned expert in cybersecurity, you will serve as a trusted solution advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic input, solution design, and business alignment for IAM initiatives.

This role demands deep technical expertise, strong business understanding, and exceptional communication skills. You will advise clients, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders on IAM solutions, provide thought leadership at industry events and workshops, and drive IAM solution architecture discussions and tailor recommendations to business needs.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IAM strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into actionable IAM use cases.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to shape go-to-market strategies and drive executive-level conversations.
  • Partner with clients to define IAM roadmaps and lead assessments or advisory engagements.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong specialization in IAM, proven experience as an IAM Architect or Advisor, and excellent communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on knowledge of IAM platforms and end-to-end IAM strategies and architectures.
  • Strong business acumen with experience aligning technical solutions to client goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to build relationships and drive executive-level conversations.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Exposure to cloud-based IAM models and zero trust architectures.
  • Prior experience working in consulting firms or global service delivery models.
  • Familiarity with IAM governance, policy frameworks, and risk-based access models.
