Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Engineering Manager to lead our technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform.

  • Owning the engineering roadmap in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Building and scaling a high-performing team, hiring and mentoring top talent.
  • Driving the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software products.
  • Establishing best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and architecture.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Making strategic technical decisions on architecture, tools, and platform design.
  • Setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Staying ahead of emerging technologies and innovations.
Success in the First Year
  • Building and scaling an initial engineering team of 5–7 engineers.
  • Delivering the minimum viable product (MVP) release of our flagship product and setting the roadmap for enterprise readiness.
  • Establishing secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and monitoring baselines.
  • Defining and documenting engineering best practices and architecture standards.
  • Demonstrating measurable improvements in team velocity and product quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • At least 4+ years hands-on development experience.
  • At least 2–3 years in engineering management, including team building and delivery.
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent.
  • Experience delivering SaaS products, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance.
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable data modeling.
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
