Senior Network Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and support of network and security devices.

This role is responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing security devices such as firewalls in on-prem and cloud deployments like Azure, OCI, and IBM.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs) and relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.

An excellent understanding of IT operations in a multinational company environment is also required.

  • Triage critical incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them while maintaining SLAs and ensuring high uptime of network and security environments.
  • Coordinate and execute upgrades, patches, and new installations in collaboration with IT infrastructure teams.

This position requires a team player with intercultural competence, communication skills, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Areas of Work:
  • Managing network hardware, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
  • Designing, setting up, configuring, and daily administering technologies such as IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Proxy devices.

A Senior Network Engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale networks would be highly desirable for this role.

Requirements:
  • CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in IT operations in a multinational company environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
